MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Law Offices of Susan M. Schauf, Ltd. is to provide quality legal services at a reasonable price. We treat each client with dignity and respect. Each case is unique. Our approach and fees reflect the uniqueness of each particular matter. We are fast and efficient, yet thorough. We analyze each individual's facts and circumstances and then give an opinion on what one may expect based on our twenty-nine years of experience in that particular field. While no lawyer can guarantee results, our projections have been remarkably accurate over the years. We pride ourselves on thorough preparation. We attempt to negotiate when possible. If negotiation fails, then alternatives such as mediation, arbitration and a full trial on the merits are explored. We do not hesitate to litigate a matter to the fullest extent provided by law if this is what is required for a full and just resolution.

Susan M. Schauf is extraordinarily qualified to provide legal services in her chosen areas of expertise. Ms. Schauf graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School in 1978. At the time, the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School was rated twelfth in the nation. Ms. Schauf is a member of both the state bars of Wisconsin and Arizona, as well as of several federal bars, including the bar of the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Schauf has practiced law in Pima County and Southern Arizona for over 29 years. Ms. Schauf has served as a judge on the Tucson Municipal Court, the Pima County Justice Court and the Pima County Superior Court, the last appointment being still current and having lasted for over 15 years. Ms. Schauf was a Real Estate Specialist certified by the State Bar of Arizona from 1991 - 2006. Ms. Schauf has been certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona since 2003. Ms. Schauf has served on several professional committees of the State Bar of Arizona, has been a director of the Arizona Foundation For Legal Services & Education (the charitable arm of the State Bar of Arizona) and has worked as a director on the board of several local and international charitable endeavors including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson, Casa de los Ninos and The Castaway Kids.
